OGSLP Offers Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) Training Workshops

Is your head swimming with all of the changes due to the HEOA? Do you need to know what this new legislation says about disclosures, cohort default rates, professional judgment and more?  Plan to attend one of OGSLP's HEOA trainings, which will be offered in Tulsa on October 21 and in Oklahoma City on October 24. 

These training workshops will highlight some of the most relevant and important changes resulting from the HEOA legislation, including:

• Lender disclosures. Learn about new and revised disclosures for Stafford and PLUS loans.
• School disclosures.  Learn about the new rules affecting schools’ disclosure practices regarding consumer information and codes of conduct.
• Help for military personnel.  Discuss the HEOA changes that will impact members of the military.
• PLUS loans.  Find out about the changes in PLUS loan eligibility and deferment eligibility.
