Yes ... Your Money Matters!
That’s the message Oklahoma Money Matters (OKMM), OGSLP’s financial literacy initiative, and the Oklahoma Lender Advisory Council (OLAC) are sharing with college students across the state through their joint publication, Your Money Matters: A Guide to Your Personal Finances.
The 16-page booklet covers topics every college student needs to know to become a better money manager, including budgeting, consumer credit, saving, student loan management, and identity theft. The Your Money Matters guide can be used in a variety of settings, like freshman orientation or campus workshops. In addition to the college guide, OKMM and OLAC have partnered to create a high school version, which is currently in development.
To request copies of the college guide, contact any of the OLAC lender partners. For more information about ways OKMM can support your financial literacy efforts, visit www.oklahomamoneymatters.org or call 405.234.4457 or 800.970.OKMM (toll-free).
