Immigrant Eligibility for Title IV Aid

In June, ED released DCL GEN-10-07, which details the requirements and process for providing Title IV assistance to “Battered Immigrants-Qualified Aliens.” Eligible persons must have documentation provided by the Department of Homeland Security’s United States Citizenship and Immigration Service showing the person meets the definition of a “qualified alien.” Complete guidance and contact information for assistance is available in the DCL.
