Plan now for Oklahoma’s College Application Week 2019!
 College Application Week (CAW) is a concentrated effort to give all high school seniors the opportunity to apply to one or more colleges while at their high school, technology center, library or community center, with knowledgeable volunteers available to help them through the application process. CAW has been launched annually in all 50 United States since 2014 and has shown enormous growth over the past five years.
CAW is sponsored by the Kresge Foundation, the Lumina Foundation and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for the American Council on Education. It is endorsed on the state level by public higher education Chancellor Glen D. Johnson, the Oklahoma State Department of Education and the Oklahoma State Chamber.
The State of Oklahoma is proud to be an active participant in this event. We have been challenged by the American College Application Campaign (ACAC) to enroll 100 schools, libraries and community centers in CAW this year. We’ve set our sights high, because we know we can surpass that goal and make a big difference for thousands of high school seniors in our state.
Register soon! We know you’re engaging students in college access activities each year; now all you need to do is register your organization for College App Week so we can tell ACAC about all the great things you’ve been doing for your students! Whether you’ve participated in CAW before or this is your first time, be sure to register soon. When we receive your registration, we’ll send you free promotional posters, as well as "I Applied" stickers for each high school senior who submits at least one online college application.
Choose any week during the months of September through November to host your CAW. Oklahoma’s "official" week is scheduled for September 23-27, 2019, but if this doesn’t fit into your busy calendar, feel free to pick another week that works best for you.
