Announcing Our New FAFSA Promotional Tool
 In our continuing efforts to ensure that every high school senior and parent knows the importance of submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Outreach Team at Oklahoma College Assistance Program (OCAP) has developed a new flyer to be used as a basic introduction to the FAFSA.
Feedback from college admission personnel has taught us that often, students enrolling for college aren’t familiar with what the FAFSA is and why they need to submit one. By giving Oklahoma high school students access to this new tool, we hope to eliminate some of the myths and mysteries of the FAFSA, giving more students the confidence to take the next step in investigating their eligibility for federal aid.
Currently, this two-sided flyer is available online only. If your school’s budget will not allow the cost of printing one for every senior, please consider printing a small quantity to post on bulletin boards around the school, as well as including the image on your school monitors. Dedicating time in class to present this information directly to seniors would also be helpful.
