FFELP Webinar Available for Download

On October 17, America’s Student Loan Providers (ASLP) hosted a Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) Webinar outlining the effects of financial market turmoil on student aid. 

The Webinar featured comments about the impact of current financial distress on financing postsecondary education and training from representatives of the higher education finance community and capital markets experts. Topics included the impact on the capital markets that serve student loan providers and the continued availability of federally guaranteed student loans, as well as the range of services provided by the FFELP community to meet the needs of students, families and schools.

The Webinar, targeted to financial aid administrators at postsecondary institutions, is available for download on the ASLP Web site.
