Tomorrow's ASLP Webinar for Schools: Continued Access to Federal Student Loans
America’s Student Loan Providers (ASLP) will host a Webinar for financial aid administrators tomorrow, February 26 to provide an update on the government liquidity programs that ensure uninterrupted access to federal student loans for students and parents despite the current economic downturn.
Webinar topics include:
- The steps taken by Congress and the Administration to preserve the availability of federal student loans.
- An overview of programs and services offered by the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) community that help students, families and schools successfully manage loan repayment and default prevention.
- The continued availability of FFELP loans for the 2009-10 academic year.
The FFELP is the largest financial aid program in the nation and the only federal student loan program that provides students and schools a choice in lenders and the resulting benefits of competition. Additionally, the FFELP community of schools, lenders and guarantors provides exceptional services that build money management skills, emphasize the importance of loan repayment and prevent default. It’s the best choice for schools and a winning partnership for students and families!
ASLP’s one-hour Webinar begins tomorrow at 12:00 PM (CST). Register today or for more information, contact Kevin Bruns at 202.721.1190 or exdir@aslp.info.
