Counselor Training Workshops Are Almost Here!
You’re invited to attend a free high school counselor training workshop! These National Training for Counselors and Mentors (NT4CM)** workshops are offered by the Oklahoma College Assistance Program (OCAP), an operating division of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. OCAP serves as our state’s NT4CM coordinator.
The Ardmore (Jan. 29) and Langston (Jan. 30) counselor workshops are coming up next week and we still have some seats available. If you, or someone you know, are interesting in attending, forward this message and register today!
A couple of notes:
- Registration for the Ardmore and Langston workshops will close Thursday, Jan. 24 at 5 p.m. The Oklahoma City workshop registration will close Thursday, Jan.31 at 5 p.m.
- The Oklahoma City workshop will now be held in the State Regents’ offices at 655 Research Parkway, Suite 200.
- The entire workshop is free, including materials and lunch.
Sessions will include information about:
- UCanGo2 – FAFSA tools and other college planning resources
- OKcollegestart.org – using Transcript Exchange
- Oklahoma Money Matters – financial literacy tools and resources
- NT4CM – resources available through the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid
- Oklahoma’s Promise – our state’s signature scholarship program
