Institutional Eligibility for the TEACH Grant Program

The College Cost Reduction and Access Act (CCRAA), P.L. 110-084, authorized the Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program for implementation beginning with the 2008-2009 award year. Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) GEN-08-07 provides institutions background information about the TEACH Grant Program and the institutional eligibility and documentation requirements.

The attachment included with DCL GEN-08-07 provides specific, step-by-step instructions for the interim process developed by the Department of Education for institutions requesting approval to participate in the TEACH Grant Program.
