New Loan Counseling Resources
Schools making the switch to the Direct Loan program have probably experienced an information overload in recent months. We know how difficult it is for financial aid personnel to sift through the details and give students the important information they need – including where to send students for Direct Loan entrance and/or exit counseling.
Take a deep breath … we’re here to help! Listed below are links to sources that can answer your entrance and exit counseling questions. And remember, borrowers who have both FFELP and Direct Loans only need to complete one exit counseling session.
- Mapping Your Future - Online Student Loan Counseling
- Department of Education Entrance and Exit Counseling Information
- NSLDS Exit Counseling Tool
If your school conducts one-on-one entrance or exit counseling, we’ve developed new student entrance and exit counseling checklists, a demographic information form and a printable exit counseling guide for your convenience.
