How do your daily duties directly impact OGSLP's customers?
My primary duties are to support and provide product and service information to our school customers and industry partners via site visits, telephone contacts and training conferences. In addition, I attend college fairs and career events at state colleges and high schools. My department is also part of the group developing and presenting information about our exciting new college access program, UCanGo2.

What advice would you give to someone in our industry who's new to working with student loans?
Be proud to work in an industry that helps change people’s lives by making higher education possible.

What do you find most challenging about the financial aid industry?
Change can be a challenge, but when you roll with the punches and take reasonable risks, it can be rewarding and exciting.

What are some of the unique services your department provides our customers?
We’ve developed awesome relationships with school and lender folks. We truly care about the success of students, schools and partners, and that enthusiasm encourages us to give 110 percent every day.

What are your hobbies or interests?
My favorite interest is my sweet 3-year-old grandson. He makes my world happy, along with my daughter and Toby Jo, my 14-year-old Maltese. My family is very close and we spend lots of time together doing fun things like going to the park, swimming, visiting the zoo and traveling. I love to spend time with my friends, going out for dinner, movies and shopping.
