House Continuing Resolution Passes Senate Vote
On March 16, we reported that the House of Representatives passed House Joint Resolution 48, which would cut $6 billion from the 2011 discretionary budget and keep the government operating through April 8. The Senate passed the bill yesterday.
There are no additional cuts or program terminations for education within this bill. The President is expected to sign it today.
