It’s official! We’ve recently changed our name from the Oklahoma Guaranteed Student Loan Program (OGSLP) to the Oklahoma College Assistance Program (OCAP). Because of recent changes in the federal student loan industry, our business model has changed, but our commitment to you and Oklahoma students remains strong.
Although our primary role has been guaranteeing student loans, we also worked diligently to provide numerous services, programs and campaigns that support outreach, college planning, personal finance education and student loan management.
Through our college access program, UCanGo2, and our financial literacy initiative, Oklahoma Money Matters, we’re able to provide free borrower support and outreach services to campuses, community partners, counselors, borrowers, students and parents. Moving forward, we’re expanding the reach and scope of these existing programs while continuing to offer you the same quality and customer service we’ve provided for years.
We look forward to continued collaboration with you as we grow together and find new ways to meet the needs of Oklahoma students.
