New NSLDS Enhancements

In NSLDS Newsletter #31 (DOC), ED announced new functionality in the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) and the NSLDS Professional Access website. The enhancements include:

• A new source code for the debt management and collections system. The current system uses code 555 and the new system uses code 556.
• Updated aid overpayment information, such as the amount and dates of overpayments of Title IV grants, including the Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants and Federal Perkins Loans.
