Thankful Thoughts
Helping students and serving local communities are things we know you work hard to do every day. We share those goals, and the holidays provide a great opportunity for us to recognize our campus and community partners for their accomplishments and think of ways we can better support each other in the coming year.
As 2010 draws to a close, I hope we can all take a moment to reflect on the challenges we’ve overcome together and the many things we have to be thankful for this holiday season. I’d like to tell you about a few of the things we’re especially grateful for here at OGSLP.
First and foremost, we’re thankful that as a result of the changes our industry has faced over the past year, we now have increased opportunities to work beside you and help you get the most out of our loan repayment education, default prevention and financial literacy programs. Collaborating with you is what makes our jobs great, and we’re thankful that you make our work even more relevant, customized and meaningful for Oklahomans. We make a fantastic team!
We’re also happy to be active participants in an ongoing and active dialogue with the Department of Education about new opportunities to provide even more useful student and campus support services. We’re lucky to have the chance to help shape the future of our industry and to let our voice be heard.
And last but not least, I’d like to say how grateful I am for the OGSLP staff. I’m thankful to them for making OGSLP a wonderful place to work and for doing their very best every day to help Oklahomans achieve their educational dreams.
On behalf of OGSLP, I offer our most heartfelt greetings to you and your families this holiday season!
