It’s Not Too Late to Register for OGSLP’s Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) Training Workshop in OKC!
OGSLP understands that recent HEOA changes can be confusing and we’re here to help. There’s still time to take advantage of a free training opportunity for those interested in learning more about how HEOA will impact schools, lenders and borrowers.
If you missed our workshop in Tulsa yesterday, it’s not too late to register for the workshop at Rose State College this Friday, October 24. We’ll highlight some of the most relevant and important changes resulting from the HEOA legislation, including:
- New and revised lender disclosures for Stafford and PLUS loans.
- New rules affecting school disclosure practices regarding consumer information and codes of conduct.
- Changes that impact military personnel.
- Changes in PLUS loan eligibility and deferment eligibility.
Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. A continental breakfast and box lunch will be served, and we expect to adjourn by 2:30 p.m. Click here to register and visit our HEOA Training page for more information, including location maps. We look forward to seeing you there!
