ED Announces New Disability Discharge Site

The Department of Education (ED) recently announced the launch of the new Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Web site, which serves as an online information resource center for the TPD Discharge program for borrowers, physicians, loan holders and veterans. This user-friendly, interactive site outlines the steps involved in the TPD Discharge process, from submission of a discharge application through final discharge. The site also provides the TPD Discharge application form, defines roles and responsibilities and offers additional contact information.
