UCanGo2 Tools Popular Among Counselors

As you read in the August edition of the Online News, OGSLP staff have been hard at work developing UCanGo2, our new comprehensive college access and outreach program. This summer we introduced two new UCanGo2 tools: the FAFSA 101 courses, ‘FAFSA Fundamentals’ and ‘Focus on the FAFSA.’ Each course package includes a PowerPoint presentation with imbedded speaker notes, a handy Presenter’s Guide that reflects the most recent updates to the FAFSA, a dependency status questionnaire and a FAFSA FAQs sheet.

We’re thrilled to share with you that the FAFSA 101 package is already popular among high school counselors! We presented ‘FAFSA Fundamentals’ at several recent counselor-only college fairs and at the State Department of Education’s Encyclo-Media Conference, and to date, over 150 copies of the package have been requested by counselors across Oklahoma.
