Help Your December Grads Succeed
Can you believe it’s already that time of year? Schools across the state are gearing up for December graduation and we’re here to help you prepare those graduates for repayment success. Whether it’s helping students locate their loan and interest rate information online or just offering tips for managing loan repayment, OGSLP has the tools to help you make it happen. Check out a few of the ways we can support your efforts to position your December grads for (even more) greatness.
- Help you connect students to NSLDS. We recently collaborated with school partners to develop easy-to-understand text schools can use to outline NSLDS features and explain how to use the system as a student loan management tool. This NSLDS text PDF is customizable to fit your individual campus needs. Check out our recent Online News article for more information and ways you can use this text to get the word out to your students.
- Get them on the right track. Oklahoma Money Matters (OKMM), our financial literacy initiative, offers a variety of money management resources about budgeting, saving, consumer credit, student loan management and more. Contact the OKMM team at 800.970.OKMM (toll-free) to explore the many ways we can support your financial education activities or visit the OKMM website for free downloadable resources and more information about our programs and services. We also offer online calculators to help students estimate monthly payments for both education loan(s) and other consumer loans.
- Maximize the effectiveness of exit counseling. We offer several tools to help you provide important information during your exit counseling sessions, including online repayment tips, the Guide to Successful Repayment brochure PDF, exit counseling checklist PDF and the Rights and Responsibilities Statement PDF. Visit the Publications & Forms section of the OGSLP website for a complete list of informational resources.
It’s our goal to empower you to help students succeed. If you need customized resources or assistance, contact us today at 800.358.5460 (toll-free) or WeCanHelp@ogslp.org.
