NT4CM & UCanGo2 Trainings Coming Soon

Do you know what NT4CM stands for? We do!

Several of you have asked us in the past if we participate in the National Training for Counselors and Mentors Initiative (NT4CM) and we can now say “yes.” In fact, OGSLP is now the state NT4CM coordinator!

NT4CM was developed by Federal Student Aid (FSA) to provide free training for counselors and mentors who educate students and families about federal, state and local financial aid resources.

What does this mean to you? This means that starting on Nov. 4, OGSLP will host several regional counselor training events to share NT4CM materials and promote our college access program, UCanGo2, as well as other important State Regents’ initiatives, like OKCollegeStart.org and Oklahoma’s Promise. We’ll be distributing free materials that offer useful college planning information for high school counselors, community partners, students, parents and adult learners.
