OGSLP Unveils Redesigned Publication
OGSLP’s flagship publication, Are You Looking for Money?, has a fresh new look! The publication, designed for high school students and their parents, provides information about Federal Stafford and Federal PLUS loans, the application process, loan limits, interest rates and repayment. Are You Looking for Money? also offers tips for managing education loans and a list of resources and programs specifically geared to help students and parents make informed decisions about borrowing.
Some of students’ most frequently asked questions about federal student aid are explained in Are You Looking for Money?, including:
- What types of federal student loans are available?
- How do I apply for a federal student loan?
- How much can I borrow?
- What are the interest rates for federal student loans?
- When do I have to start repaying my federal student loan, and how much will I pay?
- Where can I get more information?
Hundreds of Oklahoma high school counselors use Are You Looking for Money? to answer students’ questions about federal student loans. OGSLP also produces a handy condensed version, which is distributed to thousands of Oklahoma students each year at college fairs and other events.
