New Financial Literacy Tool: OKMM's One-Stop-Shop

Looking for a budgeting tool for college freshmen? Trying to find a good mortgage calculator? On the hunt for money-related activities you can do with your children or grandchildren?

Check out OKMM’s recently-launched online resource clearinghouse! We developed the online clearinghouse to help community organizations, businesses, educators and consumers find personal finance materials appropriate for the audiences they serve.

Hundreds of publications, websites, calculators and other tools can be found by browsing all materials in the clearinghouse or using the basic and advanced search features to drill down and locate materials by keyword, subject, audience served, language or resource type.

“We often hear from campuses, community groups, educators and businesses trying to locate personal finance materials, so we created this resource clearinghouse as a way to serve the state and its financial education providers,” said Angela Caddell, OGSLP Director for Communications, Financial Education and Outreach.

Materials cover a wide range of topics, including credit, savings, banking, teaching children about money, financial planning, student loan management and paying for college. Most resources are in English, however, some are available in multiple languages, including Spanish.

To help us spread the word about this new tool, we’ve developed postcards, flyers and a custom weblink button for partner sites. If you’d like to request any of these resources or if you want to link to our clearinghouse from your site or social media page, contact Lacy Myers, OGSLP Communications Coordinator at 405.234.4203 or lmyers@ogslp.org. If you have any resource suggestions, complete the ‘Suggest a Link’ form on the site.
