Host an event

Completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the first step toward accessing federal and state financial aid to help pay for college expenses. Plus, it’s a graduation requirement for Oklahoma public high school students. We’re here to help make the process easier. Our team can provide FAFSA information sessions for seniors and their families or assist with hosting a FAFSA completion event at your school. Request a workshop today!

Update or Register for the OK FAFSA Data Portal

New administration? New school? Make sure you’re set up on the Oklahoma FAFSA Data Portal. If your superintendent has changed, you’ll need a new FAFSA Completion Agreement. If you moved to a new school with an existing agreement, you’ll need to be added to an Authorized Users Form and submit a Privacy Certification. Once you’re set up, upload your 2027 seniors using our FDP template, and use the portal to verify each student’s FAFSA completion status.

The 2027-28 FAFSA will be available at FAFSA.gov on October 1. Once Federal Student Aid releases the 2027-28 FAFSA information, we’ll update the FAFSA portal with the new application data and completion-tracking details. You should be able to begin viewing your seniors’ FAFSA completion status by mid-October. In the meantime, feel free to upload your senior lists at any time so you’re ready when tracking becomes available.

College App Week (CAW)

It’s application season! Oklahoma College App Week (CAW) is an opportunity for high school seniors to receive hands-on assistance from knowledgeable volunteers while they learn about colleges across the state and complete admission applications. College App Week will be held September 21-25. But if that timeframe doesn’t work for your school, choose a week, a day or several days to host your event from September through November. Our materials are designed to work with your schedule. If you choose to take part in this beneficial event for your students, complete the registration form so that we may provide you with materials for your CAW.

College Fairs

College fair season is in full swing across Oklahoma! Meeting with college representatives at these events can help students explore their options and narrow down their postsecondary plans. UCanGo2’s College Fair Worksheet helps students compare different types of institutions, organize information, and prepare meaningful questions to ask admissions representatives. It’s a great tool for making the most of every college fair visit.
