OGSLP Continues to Subsidize Federal Default Fee
As you may have read in yesterday's NewsFlash, OGSLP will continue to pay half of the 1% federal default fee for the 2009-2010 award year.

PLUS Loan Auction Cancelled
The FFELP community has been notified that due to a lack of lender bids, the Competitive Auction Pilot Program for Parent PLUS Loans has been cancelled.

Default Prevention Tools Reflect HEOA Provisions
OGSLP’s Default Prevention Best Practices tools have been updated to help our school customers comply with Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) provisions. This series of information and tools represents tried and true approaches that produce results and complement existing regulatory requirements.

Many of you participated in the recent webinars hosted by OGSLP to introduce our partnership with SimpleTuition. This partnership allows us to offer our school customers a lender comparison tool as a resource for students and parents.

Presidential Budget Proposal Update
